Mental Health and Aggression of College going students
Author Name : Aastha Jain
ABSTRACT Mental Health is the capacity of an individual to form harmonious adjustments to one’s social and physical environment. Aggressive behaviour by one person toward the other is not a new thought. Like animals, humans also show aggression toward others. This research has analysed the relationship between mental health and aggression of college going students in various settings. The variables were mental health that was assessed using the Mental health Continuum Short Form. The Mental health Continuum Questionnaire was givenby Keyes. The buss-perry aggression questionnaire or simply the aggression questionnaire was designed by Arnol Buss and Mark Perry in 1992. The sample of 200 college going students was collected from Delhi. It is concluded that college going males and females differ significantly on aggression (males being more aggressive),and the mental health and aggression are positively correlated. However, they don’t differ on mental health.
