MPPT Incremental conductance Technique apply to Boost Converter with Different Inverter Switching
Author Name : Mr. Anurag Bajpai, Asso. Prof. C. S. Sharma
ABSTRACT
This article presents the incremental conduction techniques of Maximum Power Point Tracking System for DC-DC Step-up Converter with Voltage Source Inverter in different technologies like GTO, IGBT, MOSFET. Voltage source inverter converts battery power or other fixed DC voltage into AC form. This arrangement works very differently from the current source case and requires different types of switches. The resulting system has high efficiency; He proposed the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method with a simple algorithm for photovoltaic (PV) power generation systems. The method is based on the use of incremental photovoltaic conductance to determine the optimum operating current for maximum power output. This work proposes to investigate the incremental conductance. Maximum power point monitoring based on photovoltaic system for the benefits of low frequency switching. The simulation results confirm that the proposed MPPT controller is much faster, very efficient, much simpler and cheaper than the current one.
