A Comprehensive Review on Load Frequency Control of Two Area Thermal Power Systems

ABSTRACT : The objective of the control strategy is to generate and deliver power in an interconnected system as economically and reliably as possible while maintaining the voltage and frequency within permissible limits. In this paper, the extensive discussion have been made on load frequency control. The survey includes the detail discussion of single area and double area power system and different control strategy that is the control techniques of conventional power system and soft computing techniques which can be used in load frequency control system.
