“A Descriptive Study to Assess The Knowledge And Attitude Towards Psoriasis Among Coolie Employees”

ABSTRACT

The present aim was to assess the existing level of knowledge and attitude towards psoriasis among employees. N 30 sample of psoriasis employees selected by using randomized sampling technique. Selfstructured questionnaire method was used to collect the demographic data and the existing level of knowledge was assessed using self structured questionnaire and attitude assessed by using s likert scale among 30 study participants the mean score onlevel of knowledge on psoriasis 47(47%) of employee have inadequate knowledge, 35(35%) of employee have moderate knowledge and 18(18%) of employee have adequate knowledge. The study findings shows that the level of attitude about psoriasis among employees out of 30 samples 7(7%) of employee were strongly agree, 26(26%) of employee were neutral and 67(67%) of employee were strongly disagree. level of knowledge about psoriasis among employees at p<0.005 and the other demographic variables had not shown statistically significant association with level of knowledge about psoriasis among employees.
