A Retrospective Study To Assess The Level Of Knowledge On Food Adulteration And Its Effect On Housewives In Selected Rural Area Kelambakkam, Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu, India

ABSTRACT A Retrospective study to assess the level of knowledge on food adulteration and its effect on health in rural area housewives in Kelambakkam, Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu .The objectives are they association between the knowledge scores and selected demographic variables of rural housewives.The selected sampling was used .The data collected from the selected rural area . The research approach used for the study is quantitative approach and the design selected was descriptive research design 50 samples were participated in the study by using the convenient sampling technique .In this the study result show that the rural housewives are having highly adequate knowledge about the food adulteration structuredKnowledge questionnaire has been used for the study for finding the level about 21(48%) of the housewives has adequate knowledge the study was revealed from selected community area in kelambakkam, kancheepuram ,Tamil Nadu ,India. The level of significant selected was p<0.05level .the study show that significance is associated between the demographic values of age(1.5439), education(4.7976) has been used for the study.
