A Review on Medicinal Important and Chemical Contains In Butea Monosperma (Lam.) Taub

ABSTRACT
Butea monosperma is extensively used in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani and Traditional systems of medicine. Flowers of B. monosperma are used as anticonvulsant, antigout, antistress, diuretic, antileprotic, antihepatotoxic, anti-inflammatory, antiulcer, and astringent, eye disorder, and leprosy, diarrhea, tonic and skin diseases. Phytochemical studies of B. monosperma flower extract have shown chemical constituents like triterpene, flavonoids and glycosides like butein, isocoreopsin, monospermoside, butin, coreopsin, isomonospermoside, chalcones, aurones and steroids.
