A Secure Approach to Concealing Secret Messages within Images by Using QR – Enhanced Steganography
Author Name : Vadthya Redya, Dr. Praveen Kumar
This paper presents an innovative image Steganography method employing Quick Response Codes (QR codes) to covertly embed encoded secret messages within image data. Steganography serves as a critical tool for bolstering information security by discreetly concealing sensitive information (the payload) within an innocuous file (the container), ensuring the secure transfer of this payload while evading detection by adversaries. Such systems focus solely on concealing the payload within the container. In the contemporary landscape of data protection, safeguarding our private information is imperative. Steganography proves to be a valuable ally in achieving this goal. The integration of QR codes not only enhances the security of the transmitted information but also simplifies its access. This method combines the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm with Least Significant Bit (LSB) Steganography techniques to ensure a robust and secure process. By leveraging QR codes, this approach offers an extra layer of security and usability, making it a promising solution for safeguarding sensitive data.
