INTRODUCTION The economical factor plays an important part in determining social status. Therefore, it is better to call as socio-economic status rather than social of economic status. Social status is the position of the individual with in the social relationship. The status is in group is inherited but in modern society the status are achieved. They are achieved on the basis of occupation, membership of certain clubs, association and organization the ownership of house/ hours and materials such as Television, video, cassette, Recorder, car etc.
