A Study on Financial Analysis of Export and Import Commodity Trade in India

INTRODUCTION

International trade, an aspect of international financing plays a vital role in the development of a country like India. Trade includes both exports and imports of commodities. With the higher level of exports, the country earns foreign currencies which with higher imports, the country loses the hard-earned foreign currency. In the present project, an attempt is being made to understand the country’s direction of foreign trade. Such an attempt would help to understand whether the country’s financial transaction is favourable or un favourable to the country’s growth. This is because the Indian economy is moving through a tough situation due to the continuous mounting of deficit trade balance which adversely affects the growth of the economy.
