A Study on Marketing Strategies of Insurance Companies in India

ABSTRACT Insurance companies whether they are life insurance or general insurance devise multiple policies to cater to the needs of public. Gone are the days where only few insurance companies dominate the entire industry. But in the present scenario many private sector companies enter into the field and offer lucrative schemes and thereby allure the customers. In order to survive in the market, it is the need of the hour for the insurance companies to formulate marketing strategies to attract the customers. This paper brings into light the challenges faced by the Indian insurance companies and strategies derived by them to market their product.
