Academic Achievement of High School Students in Relation to their Learning Approaches Emotional Intelligence and Socio-economic Status

Aim: This study explore the relationships and differences among academic achievement, learning approaches, emotional intelligence and socio-economic status of high school students in Haryana, India. Method: Normative survey research method was used in this study. 920 students comprising 511 males and 409 females of 13 years average age were taken as sample from Kurukshetra, Karnal, Sirsa and Sonipat districts in Haryana, India. The investigator, personally visited the selected schools for data collection. Pearson’s product movement co-efficient correlation and one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to examine the significance of results.
