An Improved COCOMO Model for Software Effort and Cost Estimation

A software product is developed by following a series of stages. These stages are processed under different parameters and constraints to control the work flow. Different estimators are available to identify the predictive cost and efforts. In this work an improved COCOMO model is provided under multiple parameter. The parameters are defined under fuzzy logic to generate more accurate results. The model is here defined under the cost and the reliability criteria. The comparative result shows that the proposed model provided more accurate estimation of software project than earlier COCOMO model.
