Awareness and Perception of Dietary Supplements Among Regular Gym Users

ABSTRACT
India’s dietary supplement market is growing very rapidly and one of the primary reasons for this expansion is the impact of fitness industry as the coaches and trainers in gyms and clubs are the primary source of knowledge about these supplements.
Supplements are considered essential by majority of the athletes and regular gym users. The study was done in Bikaner city of Rajasthan state with a sample size of 340 regular gym users. The study revealed that there is a positive correlation between the use of these supplements and the regularity of the user. the study also showed that an average user is primarily influenced by the word-of-mouth publicity in the choice of his brand.
