Awareness of Alcoholism among Industrial Training Institute Students in Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh

ABSTRACT

The present study was undertaken to find out the difference in alcoholism awareness among Industrial Training Institute students of District Kangra in relation to their gender, area and type (Government and Private Institute). The sample for  study was selected on the basis of random sampling. A sample of 50 ITI students were taken from 4 ITI’s of District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. The data was collected by using alcoholism awaress test developed by researcher itself. The investigator found that there is no significant difference in alcoholism awareness among ITI’s in relation to gender, rural and urban area and Government and Private Industrial Training Institutes.
