Awareness of Micro Entrepreneurship and Emerging Opportunities among Graduate Students

ABSTRACT

This study intends to find out the awareness of graduate students towards micro entrepreneurship opportunities as a way for their livelihood after their graduation. (Azeez & Akhtar, 2019)One serious problem that Kerala is facing is educated unemployment. Micro Entrepreneurship is best way to solve the problem of unemployment.(Matthew et al., 2020) have analysed how micro and small enterprises had contributed towards creation of job. The attitude of students influences considerably in choosing a career option (Gubik, 2021). So it is essential to study the awareness and preference of students towards micro entrepreneurship. The awareness of micro entrepreneurship, its importance towards economic growth, financing ways, risk etc influences the preference of entrepreneurship opportunities. The study uses sample survey for primary data collection. Various websites and online journals are also considered for secondary data collection.
