Brane: A theoretical explanation of dark energy

ABSTRACT:  Dark energy is the unknown force that is responsible for the accelerating expansion of the cosmos, one of the severe issue with dark energy is that cosmos in nutshell is homogenous, isotropic hold at a constant pressure and there is no difference of pressure in the various regions of the cosmos and hence there is no significant explanation of the various theories proposed for the expansion of the cosmos. In this paper a novel approach of seeing the cosmos as an ocean of branes is suggested and hence there is a difference of pressure between the branes by M theory and the vacant space between them.
