Comparative Analysis of Therapeutics of Rasna and Nirgundi against Amavata

ABSTRACT
According to Ayurveda the human body is a specific creation several microscopic factors which remains co-ordinate across its life called as dosha, dhatu, mala etc. Among them the doshas specially called vata, pita and kapha comprises its major part as well as determined to be most important for its healthy lives. The balanced equilibria of these fundamental elements in the body coordinated the good health. However, inequity of these basic constituents causes to develop different diseases. As discussing about Amavata, a disease now-a-days affecting the human society drastically due to the abrupt alignment of Vata- Kaphadosha with in the body due to viruddhahara, viruddhachesta, mandagni and exercise after eating fat containing snigdhahar etc. It is most common disease among various joints disorders and the changing life style and dietetic pattern are also being manifested as the increment in the number of patient day by day and is challenging disease for the clinicians due to its chronicity, incurability, complications and morbidity. In Ayurvedic literature, numbers of herbal preparation are described for the management of the disease. Among them Rasna and Nirgundicomprises among most effect drugs for amavata. On the basis of it,to evaluate the pharmaco-therapeutics and efficacy of Rasna and Nirgundi on Amavataas well as their comparedanalysis along their clinical advantage, these two drugs have been assigned.
