Comparison of the Analysis and Design of MultiStorey Buildings with Regular and Irregular Configurations in Various Seismic Zones and Soil Types
Author Name : Amarjeet Singh
ABSTRACT It is expected that various wind loads will work together with earthquake loads in order to explain the complicated response of G+11 many buildings with irregular and regular configurations during earthquakes. ETABS and STAAS PRO V8i are used in this work to analyse domestic G+ 11 numbers of buildings for wind loads and earthquake. Stationary and dynamic analyses are carried out under the assumption that the substance's properties are linear. These analyses take into account various seismic zones, and in every area, the behaviour is evaluated using three different soil types, including hard, medium, and soft. With various regions and kinds of soil, various responses, such as story drift, shifts, and base shear, are plotted.
