Data Preparation Process and Presentation in Research Work: Various Outlooks

Author Name : Sudarshan Roy, Dhiman Ray

ABSTRACT

Data preparation is the procedure of manipulating and forming data earlier to analysis. Data preparation is naturally an interactive procedure of manipulating raw information, which is frequently formless and untidy, into a more structured and helpful structure that is prepared for further analysis. Data are typically collected in a raw arrangement and thus the implicit data is hard to understand. Therefore, raw information needs to be briefed, processed and analysed. TheData preparation procedure is nothing but the procedure of collecting data, organizing of data and subsequently integration of information into one file or data table, chiefly for use in study. Here, in this effort an attempt has been taken to talk about thefundamentals of information grounding process in research work, benefits of data preparation process, missing value and outlets, types of analyses, frequency distribution, cross tabulation, data mining, needs for data mining, data mining process, diagrammatic representation, types of one-dimensional diagram, statistics in research, characteristics of statistics research, etc. However, the primary objectives of this study are to make the researcher familiar with the data preparation process and presentation for research work, yet the study will specifically evaluate as to make the researcher familiar with the data preparation process for research work and to discuss the various outlooks presentation of data collection.

Keywords: Data Preparation Process, Data Presentation, Data Collection, Data Analysis, Data Mining, One-Dimensional Diagram.
