Traditionally consumed with dairy products such as cow's milk, these cereals can also be paired with yogurt, plant-based milks, or enjoyed plain. Since their inception in the late 19th century, breakfast cereals have evolved from simple corn flakes to a diverse array of grains, shapes, and flavors, often fortified with vitamins and minerals underscores the health benefits of consuming breakfast cereals. Eating breakfast, compared to skipping it, enhances macro- and micronutrient intake, reduces the risk of weight gain, and improves cognitive performance.
