Effect of Carbonation on different properties of concrete M20 and M25 Grades Portable and Treated Waste water
Author Name : Lata Devi, Dr. Hemant Sood
ABSTRACT
This works was carried to find out the properties of M20&M25 grades of concrete with utilizing of treated waste water and potable water. In this experimental study be have been define the properties of raw material and chemical properties of treated waste water and potable water and its effect on properties of concrete. The study includes mixing proportions of concrete of grades M20 and M25 in different proportions of water. The test was carried out in accelerated carbonation chamber having the level 10% in CO2 and 60% humidity with constant temperature. The comparative study was done to know the effect of carbonation on mechanical properties of carbonated concrete and normal concrete with proportions of treated waste water and potable water. The compressive, Split tensile and flexural strength were experimented at 3,7and 28 days with proportions of treated waste water and potable water.
