Effects of Torque through a Porous Permeable and Revolving Disc with Applied Magnetic Field
Author Name : Punit Bansal, Deepika Bhandari
The torque between a rotating disc and a naturally permeable porous disc, under the presence of a magnetic field applied perpendicularly to the discs, has been discussed. The flow solutions are obtained from the magnetic hydrodynamic equations in the free fluid region and from Darcy’s equation in the porous region with suitable boundary conditions at the interface. The expression for torque on both disks has been obtained.
