ABSTRACT The land registry using blockchain is used for maintaining land records physically. But the physical maintenance may lead to misuse of the document. This could be overcome using digitalization and the security for the document is satisfied with blockchain. The blockchain store the details individually in the contracts and the contracts are deployed as blocks in the network. As blockchain is a Peer to Peer Technology the network is highly protected and provides a path or platform to store land documents digitally. Peer to peer technology allows every peer or nodes of the network to view and maintain the digitalized record. The ethereum platform and coins are used to deploy the application. This could help to improve the document maintenance and reduce the paperwork for the officials in the government or the landowners can keep their documents in blockchain rather than keeping as paper documents to reduce security burden. With blockchain the state of security can be improved. Better maintenance of the documents can help the right person get proper rights. The basic rule of every governance is to provide proper rights to the individuals where the land registry using blockchain might help to satisfy this condition in an efficient manner. It is an idea proposed to implement these kinds of technologies in the future which could help in better ways.
