ABSTRACT

Environmental degradation is deterioration of the natural environment due to human activities. Women play a significant role in natural resource management, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and community-based conservation initiatives. Some of the key ways in which women contribute to environmental conservation include. However, they have also shown resilience and adaptability in the face of these challenges, coming up with innovative strategies to cope with changing environmental conditions. Women are active advocates for environmental conservation at local, national, and international levels. Women often make decisions related to household consumption and spending. By promoting sustainable consumption habits and supporting eco-friendly products and practices, they can influence overall societal behavior towards more environmentally friendly choices. This research article discusses the major contributions of women in the environmental conservation.
