ABSTRACT

Information and communication technology revolution affects politics & government in the future. Information revolution is a social, political, economic, cultural & psychological as well as technological revolution. The new information & communication technology are spreading rapidly throughout offices, factories & homes around the world. These developments have affected how people think about power & its use. Technology is being inserted into existing organizational forms. The government are acquiring the new technologies seeking competitive advantages from then & addressing the issues they raise. In modern times democracy & bureaucracy have enabled new kinds of people to participate in government. In turn cyberocracy which signifies the rule by way of information. The development of cyberspace & cyberocracy raises issues about relations between public & private sectors. Cyberocracy ultimately concerns nature of governance.
