Experimental Study on Strength of Concrete by Partially Replacement of Payment by Cashew Nut-Shell Ash (Cnsa) and Chicken Feather Fibre (Cff) as Fibre Reinforcement

Author Name : K. Abishek, N.M. Karthiyan

ABSTRACT To develop a green and economical substitute to cement by using cashew nut shell ash. Minimize the overall environmental effects of cement production using these resources as partial replacement of cementthe cement content for concrete. To increase the compressive strength of concrete. Assess various supplementary materials obtained as by-products for partial replacement of cement. Increase the compressive strength of concrete by using chicken feather fiber. The concrete is very weak in tensile due to its brittle nature and is not expected to resist the direct tension. The concrete develops cracks when subjected to tensile forces. Thus, it is necessary to determine the tensile strength of concrete to determine the load at which the concrete members may cracks.
