Author Name : Swati Shakya, Dr. Seema Bhadauria, Dr. Neelam Tripathi
ABSTRACT
This research is the analysis of FT-IR spectroscopy on various sandstone samples from different cultural heritage monuments. Science and technology is very useful in preservation and conservation of such heritage monuments. FTIR spectroscopic strategy is related to debris examples to recognize the component minerals. From the infra range, the minerals are recognized as of the place or rock band setting of tops with the help of offered literary works. In this field, spectroscopic methods are essential prominent tools for analyzing the arrangement of the entire products that make up a "cultural item. FTIR spectroscopic method is practical to sandstone examples to acknowledge the component minerals. From the infra range, Minerals are recognized that the band placement of different heights by utilizing offered literary works. The minerals such as orthoclase, quartz, albite, microcline, montmorlinite, calcite kaolinite, aragonite as well as natural carbon are determined. The executed evaluations offered valuable details concerning the mineralogical work of the sandstone. FTIR spectroscopy is a beneficial technique for the mineral research of coastal sandstone.
