Gas Leakage Detection & Automatic Cylinder Using SMS Alert Using Arduino Uno

ABSTRACT

The main objective of the proposed Gas detection and automatic alert system is to provide a solution by designing an automatic alert system which can detect the leakage and alert the person at home. By using this proposal we can save the people from gas leakages, explosions. Gas leakage is a major problem in industries, residential premises and gas powered vehicles. The leakage if not detected may lead to explosion and cause severe damages to life and environment. The detection system uses GSM and ARDUINO with SMS alert. We will interface SIM800 GSM module as well as MQ 135 gas sensor with ARDUINO. The gas value will be displayed on display. Whenever the excess gas is detected SMS will be sent to a particular number.
