Human Expression Recognition in an Image Using Cnn

ABSTRACT

The mood/emotion of the human can be identified by observing his/her facial expression. The same can also be done by computers by using advanced technologies like Deep Learning. Emotions can be recognized based on various factors such as facial expressions, body-language, voice, speech, etc. In this paper, a proposal is made for detecting human emotion using the facial expression using Convolution Neural Networks. The objective of the project is to automatically detect the face in a given image and to recognize the expression of the person such as anger, disgust, fear, Happy, sad, surprise, stress, boredom and irritation
