Individual Activation Factor Cluster Adaptive Algorithm for Network Echo Cancellation

ABSTRACT This paper presents the convergence analysis of an Individual Activation Factor Cluster Sparse Proportionate Affine Projection Algorithm to estimate the network echo channels. The proposed algorithm IAF-CSPAPA incorporates the individual activation factor for each cluster instead of a global activation factor as in the CS-PAPA algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed IAF-CSPAPA offers better convergence performance than other type APA’s in terms of convergence rate.
