ABSTRACT This study explores the innovative learning strategies employed by Special Needs Education (SnEd) teachers in multi-disability settings, focusing on the effectiveness of these strategies and the challenges faced in their implementation. By employing a qualitative case study approach, the research delves into the experiences of ten SnEd teachers from selected schools in Davao City, Philippines. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that multisensory learning strategies significantly enhance educational outcomes for students with multiple disabilities, improving engagement and understanding. Teachers employed various techniques, such as visual aids, tactile activities, and low-cost assistive tools, to cater to the diverse learning needs of their students. However, the study also highlights several challenges, including limited professional development opportunities, resource constraints, and the need for effective classroom management and behavioral strategies. Teachers expressed the importance of ongoing professional development and specialized training to address the complex needs of students with multiple disabilities.
