ABSTRACT
At present, home automation is very useful because switchboards are located in random places at home. Home automation is useful for physically handicapped or disabled persons, old aged and blind people. There are many types of home automation techniques like hand gesture-based, voice-based, clap based, remote-based, mobile app-based and SMS based controlling.
The automatic controlling of electrical appliances is because every time humans can’t able to operate the switchboards so that home automation is used. The proposed system is without human intervention that is because voice-based, remote-based, etc are with human intervention and always humans can’t able to control in the critical situations.
The advancements in home automation made life more simple and sophisticated. To date internet of things (IoT) is the advanced technology through which home devices (actuators) can be made activated or deactivated using an internet-connected web-based page or an android application. Till now, human intervention is probable in all home automation technologies. In this paper, the idea about machine learning-based home automation IoT is explained where the actuators will be activated through sensor detection. But the activation will be carried out with the human sensory operation.
The paper also describes the prototype of the simple home automation system with multiple sensors for detecting temperature, humidity, flame, gas and so on and will notify the data in LCD display board. The actuators like fan, pump-set, and bulb will be controlled using the blynk android application. The complete design model has been simulated in proteus design environment.
