Investigation of Phytochemical composition from the Stem of Trigonella Foenum-Graecum Plant from Aurangabad City

ABSTRACT The term Trigonella, which refers to the genus Trigonella, is derived from the Greek word Foenum-graecum. Trigonella foenum-graecum is commonly known as fenugreek worldwide. The green leafy vegetables of the Fabaceae family, which includes the genus Trigonella, are widely available in Europe and India. Owing to its extensive applications in daily life as food and medicine, it can now be found almost anywhere in the world. During pregnancy and to treat stomach problems, trigonella foenum-graecum is used. It also possesses antiinflammatory, anti-oxidant, and anti-diabetic properties. Although the Trigonella foenum-graecum plant is widely used as a green vegetable in India, its seeds also have certain advantageous medicinal properties.Vitamins-A, Vitamins-C, and Vitamins-K are among the elements found in Trigonella foenumGraecum, a natural product that also includes potassium, calcium, riboflavin, niacin, alkaloids, and flavonoids.
