Author Name : Preeti, Mr Naveen Hooda, Mr Sandeep Pannu
ABSTRACT: The Bubble deck method for two directions reinforced composite concrete slab with gap was firstly invented in Denmark, it was conceived to achieve saving of concrete, time, money and energy in buildings construction. The composite slabs of such type are made of Bubble Deck type slab elements with spherical gaps, poured in place on transversal and longitudinal directions. By introduce the bubble deck slab or by filling the gaps between bottom and top reinforcement the aim of this project is to explore and explain the various properties of bubble deck slab based on experimental research methods. The paper provides a brief idea about the different Bubble deck slabs, their production and advantages over traditional concrete slabs.
