PV/T Technology - the Future of Solar Energy
Author Name : Mukesh Kumar
ABSTRACT
The solar energy is considered as clean and sustainable source of energy. The associative PV and thermal technology as known for low performance and the basic reason behind is heat loss and technological limitations. Various researchers integration of PV technology heat loss issues with solar thermal which ulitilzed heat, will optimizes PV system. Such hybrid photovoltaic/thermal systems can generate electrical and thermal energy concurrently, are easy to integrate into buildings, and perform well. It is found that the combined PV-T system is less expensive, more efficient and less heat loss than using either the PV or thermal systems alone. This work discusses how different heat removal process affect energy generating parameters. This combination reduces thermodynamical limitations and generate more energy. This is going to be promising technology for future clean energy development.
