Regenrative Braking System And Its Fabrication

ABSTRACT

Nowadays as the population is increasing and also need of energy for day to day work and for industrial work is increasing. All these reasons are putting pressure on our natural resources of energy. Due to which they are depleting at a faster rate than before. So as engineering students our duty to encourage that technology that can even save little resources. As we all know in the coming time gasoline vehicles will be replaced by Hybrid and electric vehicles due to the reason of depleting resources and increasing environmental damage. Hence i choose Regenerative Braking System and its Fabrication as my major project.

A regenerative Braking System is an energy-saving mechanism that can be used in electric/Hybrid vehicles. This braking mechanism simply saves the heat which is wasted during the braking of a vehicle by simply converting the KE of the vehicle to electrical energy at some extent.  We know Regenerative braking is not as powerful as friction pad braking but this mechanism is used side by side with braking pad mechanism.
