ABSTRACT This paper focuses on the management of resources in India on the assumption that currently the resources like land, water, minerals, forests and other resources are underutilized or ill-managed in India. It is also discuss the waste of human resources in India. It is well known that India is rich in resources but still poor. There are other countries like Japan that lack resources but are much ahead of India. Natural resource management refers to the management of resources such as animals, plants, soil, and land to improve the quality of life.
