Routing in Internet of Things: A review
Author Name : Hitali Shah
ABSTRACT Internet of Things, often referred to as the network of smart objects, cannot make use of many traditional protocols for networking. The paper provides a brief study on what IoT is and the challenges in designing a reliable IoT network. Routing in IoT requires many traditional notions of networking, like error control and flow control, to be broken, leading to the underutilization of the network. To address these issues, a reliable routing protocol needs to be standardized across IoT devices. This paper reviews the papers which discuss routing protocols proposed by IETF and their issues.
