ABSTRACT

Manipur is in the northeast state which has huge tourism potential. The place originally belongs to natural beauty and there are different types of destinations in Manipur. Exploring a place that is rich in culture and tradition is a whole new experience for the tourist. Manipur needs to be developed in certain ways like roads and its infrastructure Considering the significance of the tourism sector as a catalyst for regional development, an attempt has been made in this article to visualize the trend and development of the tourism sector in Manipur. The study has shown the significant way to develop sustainable tourism in Manipur and its challenges.
