ABSTRACT

We have touched that phase of life where nearly every singular is coupled to the Internet. The progression of Internet technology took a novel shape where the lot around the world can be joining amongst each other & that technology is christened as IoT (Internet of Things). It is a gigantic conception which is budding day by day & the prospects in IoT is infinity.There are security requirements related to IoT,security threats related to enabling technologies used in IoT,the architectural layers of IoT and security challenges which are mentioned in this study.The study also puts forward Security remedies for IoT .The research paper gives an idea to the readers/audience about Role of Security in IoT implementation.In my viewpoint I would like to state that it depends on the organization/individual how well it makes use of IoT so that he/she/organization can take maximum benefit from its features while simultaneously delicately handling the security challenges involved.The nature of this study is qualitative and the author recommends there are many possible directions of research in Security in IoT which can be helpful for the development of society and the world.
