Sentiment Analysis on Farmers Query using Machine Learning Techniques

ABSTRACT Call centers are one of the most important infrastructure in the service industry as they play many important roles from retail to technical support. Government of India (GOI) for the initiative of welfare and development of Farmers (kisan) in India, has launched Kisan Call Centers (KCC) across the country to deliver extension services to the farming community for resolving their diverse problems. Every time a kisan makes a call to the KCC, the query asked by the kisan is recorded manually, the number of calls generated in a day will be many and that leads to Big Data. The idea of this paper is to analyze the larger KCC datasets using ‘Sentiment Analysis’ and to draw the percentage of reviews being ‘positive’ and ‘negative’ for different aspects on district basis and project these findings graphically. These reviews help us to find the kisans who are facing issues that needs to be quickly solved by the government.
