ABSTRACT

In this project, we use machine learning libraries in python to detect the  Gesture and collect the data through a camera. First, we collect the contours for which we know the dimensions. After which we collect the samples, and create a data set where we have the picture of Gestures and we estimate the real-life dimensions of the Gesture.  This model teaches us to take pictures of the Gesture(Sign), recognize, and then create a model that estimates the meaning of the Gesture. The model is dependent on the available data if the algorithm is taught with a better variety of Gestures then the estimations would be more accurate
