INTRODUCTION

Today Intellectual Property Rights are more economical and political important than it was before. The Patent, Copyrights, geographical indications, trademarks are less mentioned in debates on topics like public health, food security, education, trade, biodiversity, media sector and internet. There is a doubt that IPRs understanding is indispensable in the knowledge based economy to inform policy making in all human development areas. The GIs is new field in the IPR sector which needs protection for wrongful use.
