Sino-Indian Economic Complex Interdependence

ABSTRACT
China and India are the two emerging economies in the world. As of 2021, China and India are the 2nd and 5th largest economies in the world, respectively, on a nominal basis. On a PPP basis, China is at top place, and India is at 3rd . Both countries share 21% and 26% of the total global wealth in nominal and PPP terms, respectively. Among Asian countries, China and India together contribute more than half of Asia's GDP. In the year 2020–2021 China–India skirmishes, multiple reasons have been cited as the trigger for these skirmishes. China to occupy land at multiple locations along the Sino-Indian border The border between China and India is disputed at multiple locations.The government announced the ban on the products and 267 Chinese apps. Despite India’s efforts to reduce dependence on Chinese imports amid an increased emphasis on self-reliance as well as escalating along the borders, India’s imports from china rises 51% total trade to cross $100 billion in 2020.
