Stress among Students Living in a Selected Hostel of Delhi

ABSTRACT Introduction: Environment plays a significant part in determining how much stress someone experiences, it also influences how that person copes with stress to some level. Staying away from home can be source of happiness, stress, or a combination of the two to varied degrees. Objective: The study aimed to assess the level of stress among the students living in a selected hostel of Delhi. Methods: A cross-sectional research design was used for the study.This study was carried out on female hostelers of a selected hostel of Delhi. A total of 40 subjects were selected using random sampling technique. Perceived stress scale was used to assess the stress among hostelers.
