ABSTRACT (Cd,Zn)S: Ag with particles size of about 167 nm has been prepared by using high temperature conventional solidstate method. The structural, morphological, and thermal properties have been investigated, respectively. XRD patterns are in goodagreement with JCPDS card number 49-1302,confirmed hexagonal structure. The thermoluminescence glow curve of (Cd,Zn)S: Ag was recorded for different UV exposure time such as 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 min. The Peak temperature was found to be 109°C for different UV exposure timeat a heating rate 6.50Cs-1 , show linear response with UV dose. The kinetic parameters such as activation energy, frequency factor and order of kinetics were calculated by using Peak shape method and also calculated the trap depth by using Chen’s empirical formula. The value of the activation energy belongs to 0.48eV to 0.70 eV and frequency factor 8.12 X108 s -1 to1.93 X109 s -1 .
