Author Name : Yogesh Kumari Madhukar
INTRODUCTION At present, the whole world is struggling with many types of environmental problems, the only root cause of which is the indiscriminate destruction of nature by man to fulfil his selfishness. The natural balance of the world has deteriorated due to some exploitation of nature‟s diverse environment such as forests, soil, mountains, water bodies, etc., due to which the world‟s ecological system has been „unbalanced‟, due to which various environmental problems have taken their dreadful form before human beings. Recently innumerable efforts are being made in various fields of life like education, science, space, agriculture, etc. To avoid these problems and to protect nature. In such efforts, a new dimension has spread its wings in the field of literature which we know by the name of Eco-criticism, Green Literature or Green voice etc. Ecocriticism or Green Literature is a recent movement in the field of literature which studies the relationship between human life and nature.
