The Role of Spirituality in Mental Health of College Going Students
Author Name : Dr. Neharshi Srivastava, Manshi Begal
The purpose of this research is to look at the link between spiritual well-being and mental health among university students. The study included 100 university students who completed the Spiritual Well-Being Scale and the General Health Questionnaire. The study's findings revealed that spiritual well-being and mental health are linked in a substantial way. Despite this, no link was found between spiritual well-being and bodily complaints, anxiety, social dysfunction, or depression. The regression analysis revealed that religious and existential well-being predicted mental health in a substantial way. Another conclusion showed that females had much greater spiritual and existential well-being than men.
Keywords: spiritual well-being; existential well-being; religious well-being; mental health.
