ABSTRACT Software development practices can be improved by incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Agile methodology. Artificial intelligence (AI)-driven innovations, such predictive analytics, automated sprint planning, and AI- powered testing, enhance workflow speed and quick time-to- market, decision-making, and resource management. Notable advantages of these improvements are improved project prediction, higher code rules, and reactive risk management. Nevertheless, numerous integration-related challenges arise, including a requirement for quality data, implementing AI with Agile principles, adjusting team culture, and addressing issues. When incorporating AI into Agile, careful planning and collaboration is needed to find a balance within automation and Agile' s human-centred values.
