Utilizing Deep Learning for Enhanced Detection of Ischemic and Hemorrhagic Strokes in CT and MRI Imaging

ABSTRACT Stroke is a significant global health challenge and a leading cause of death and disability. Accurate and timely differentiation between ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes is essential for effective treatment and improving patient outcomes. Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) are key modalities in stroke diagnosis. This research investigates the application of deep learning techniques to enhance the diagnostic accuracy and efficiency of stroke identification using CT and MRI scans. We provide a comprehensive review of current deep learning advancements in stroke detection, addressing the challenges, potential benefits, and future directions in this rapidly evolving field.
